No, this is a free site so sign up is free and quick and easy.
Can't I upload without signing up?
That would be no. You have to register and really it is quick and easy.
So how do I upload stories?
- First you have to login to your account.
- Click on Add New Story.
- Take a read through the Submission Rules, and choose the category that your story falls under.
- Then you fill out the form. At the bottom you can either:-
-- Copy/Paste your story into the window, just like on message boards.
-- Or upload the story in html format from your hard drive.
Really it's that easy!
How do I get it to say that my story is completed?
- Again login.
- Select Edit/Delete stories
- Click on "No" next to your story and it will turn to "Yes"
- And that's it done!
Why don't you allow netspeak in fics?
It's just plain hard to read, and personally I skip any fics like that.
What actor fic? Why can't I write about Sam or Christie?
I find actor fic to be uncomfortable, and if ever any actors come across this site I wouldn't want them to feel weird about fanfiction being written about them.
And Adult fic? Where can I post it?
On the message board there's a hidden forum for viewing and posting adult fanfiction. To gain access to it you have to PM me through the forums and give me your date of birth so no one underage can get in.
So what's this about Slash?
Okay, slash is the term used for fanfiction that deals with gay pairings. The characters might not be gay on the show but that doesn't stop them from being slashed. Slash is welcome here, but this is a K/K archive so any fanfiction should have K/K either lead the plot, or share it. So if you have a slash fic that's also majorly K/K then just put SLASH in the summary.
What about crossovers? So you allow them?
Yeah, sure why not! There's nothing better than a good crossover so write away!
What about fics that are just Kirsty or Kane but not them both?
We'll except them (nothing like a good character fic) but we're not accepting them where it's just based on the character with someone else. You know like Kirsty/Seb or even at a stretch Kane/Dani. This is a K/K archive so it's not fair to K/K fans to have their favourite couple split just so other ships can posted in their archive.
So what kind of ratings system are you using?
As I'm from the UK, and don't follow the Austrailan ratings, I've decided to stick with the British rating system which is easy to follow.
U - Universal
PG - Parental Guidence
12 - Not suitable for anyone under 12 (You can get away with using the F word once in this rating)
15 - Not suitable for anyone under 15 (If you use the F word more than once then use this rating)
